LIMBO Short Film 2025

LIMBO short film
The short film ‘Limbo’ written by Marla J. Hayes, and it will be directed and produced by Raz Akram is in pre-production. The film’s principal photography will commence in early 2025.
The storyline: When a suicidal young woman awakens in a white room, locked in a straight jacket, she must mentally escape back to the hospital where her body lies, remain in limbo or succumb to heaven or hell.
Location: The filming location will be in the United Kingdom, however, credentials will also be given to Marla’s home country of Canada as a mark of respect.
History: Marla J. Hayes of Ontario, Canada, a respected film producer and screenwriter, passed away in February, 2020. Raz Akram optioned the ‘Limbo’ screenplay in 2012 under the CMi Company, and since then, he has worked on developing a number of short film screenplays with Marla up until her death in 2020. Raz holds the rights to ‘Limbo’ screenplay, and feels now is the time to produce it, and put Marla’s work out there for others to appreciate her creative talents.
Marla J. Hayes will be credited for the positions of film producer and screenwriter alongside Raz’s credits of film producer and film director.
